We had every intentions of enjoying a show at the planetarium when we arrived for the 3 pm showing. However, upon checking in we were given a description of the show and decided to take a raincheck because the content would not have held the kids attention.
So instead of boring the children to near death we decided to browse the exhibits at the center which are free to the public. The kids had such a great time with the hands on exhibits, viewing the live reptiles, and browsing the statues of the animals.
I also learned many things about our great states' diversity of animals. Some which scared me to be honest, like finding out Georgia has 60 different species of snakes and 9 types are poisonous!!!
